How do I register with DFI?

Complete the tax refund anticipation loan facilitators registration form.

Write a check payable to the "Washington State Treasurer" for $35.00 per EFIN. (For example, your main office has one EFIN. Three of your branch offices each have an EFIN. You have a total of four EFINs. Your registration fee is $35.00
x 4 = $140.00. Please include the EFIN numbers on your check.)

Mail the completed form, a copy of the IRS letter issuing the EFIN, and your registration fee of 35.00 per EFIN to:

Which Law Requires RAL Facilitators to Register with DFI?

RCW 19.265, the Tax Refund Anticipation Loan law, requires refund anticipation loan facilitators to register with DFI. The law went into effect July 24, 2005.
- In addition to registration, the law contains other provisions and requirements for RAL facilitators. List last updated March 29, 2007.
