The notice states these changes are due to change in Washington law. The notice contains the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions' (DFI) name and telephone number.
Navy Federal Credit Union is not regulated by DFI. The credit union is regulated federally, by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
We have been in touch with both the NCUA and Navy Federal Credit Union itself about our concerns with the information contained in the notice.
