The Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) received a report stating that a consumer obtained contact information for Randall Wilson for purposes of obtaining a loan. The consumer was advised by a representative that he was approved for a loan but that the consumer was required to send money in advance of receiving the loan funds. The consumer was told to send money via Western Union and that once the money was sent via Western Union the loan funds would be deposited into the consumer’s bank account. However, once the money was sent no loan was provided.
Randall Wilson and Heritage Loan and Finance claim to be located at 1818 Westlake Avenue, Seattle, Washington. However, it appears as though neither Randall Wilson nor Heritage Loan and Finance are located at this address. DFI attempted to contact Randall Wilson and Heritage Loan and Finance via the phone number (206-317-1587) listed on the company’s website, http://www.hl.heritagefinsolutionsllc.com, but DFI was unsuccessful.
The company is not licensed by the Washington State of Department of Financial Institutions, the Washington State Department of Licensing, Washington State Department of Revenue, or the Washington State Secretary of State.
DFI strongly recommends that consumers deal only with those lenders that are properly licensed to conduct business. Consumers can determine whether lenders are properly licensed using the "Verify a License" feature on the DFI’s website at www.dfi.wa.gov.
