The Washington State Department of Financial Institutions is warning consumers to verify the license of any lending professional they are considering doing business with.

500FastCash.com, provides payday loans to consumers via the internet.

The company is not licensed by the Washington Department of Financial Institutions.

The company is not registered to do business in Washington by either the Department of Revenue or the Washington Secretary of State.

It appears 500FastCash.com, which is owned by MTE Financial Services, is a subdivision of the Moduc Tribe of Oklahoma, a federally-recognized Indian Tribe. As a result, 500FastCash.com may not be subject to the Department of Financial Institutions' jurisdiction.

The Department of Financial Institutions strongly recommends consumers only deal with those payday loan companies that are properly licensed to conduct such business.
