Possible Loan Scam

July 8, 2009

The Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) is warning consumers to verify the license of any lending professional they are considering doing business with to avoid becoming victims of potential scams.

Prime Life Finance claims to have an address:

50 North West Washington, Suite 350
Chicago, IL 60602

This does not appear to be a valid address. A representative for Prime Life Finance stated to a consumer that the representative’s name was Jason Naphan Green.

Neither the Washington State Department of Revenue nor the Office of the Secretary of State shows that Prime Life Finance is authorized to do business in Washington. The company is not licensed by the Department of Financial Institutions. Prime Life Finance does not appear to have any physical presence in Washington State.
