The Division of Consumer Services may take administrative action for violations of the following laws.
- Mortgage Broker Practices Act (MBPA, RCW 19.146)
- Consumer Loan Act (CLA RCW 31.04)
- Check Cashers and Sellers Act (CCSA, RCW 31.45)
- Uniform Money Services Act, (UMSA, RCW 19.230)
- Escrow Agent Registration Act (RCW 18.44) as of July 1, 2006
Respondents have the right to contest the allegations by requesting an administrative hearing or, alternatively, by submitting a written statement in response to the allegations.
