Links to the administrative actions taken by the Division of Credit Unions (the “Division”) are provided in the Table below. The Division may take administrative action when a credit union and/or persons affiliated with a credit union have violated the Credit Union Act, Chapter 31.12 RCW, or other applicable law or regulation.
Items appearing on this website may be subject to an administrative hearing or further proceedings under the Administrative Procedure Act, Chapter 34.05 RCW.

Washington state chartered credit unions (“state credit union”) must comply with laws pertaining to federal deposit insurance. The National Credit Union Administration (the “NCUA”) is the U.S. government agency that insures shares and deposits to at least $250,000 for state credit unions. The NCUA may issue its own administrative orders to state credit unions. View NCUA’s administrative orders.
