Stakeholder Teleconference/Meeting Timeline for OREO Rulemaking

As the Division of Credit Unions moves forward with rulemaking for the safe and sound management of “Other Real Estate Owned” (OREO), you are encouraged to keep informed and participate in the OREO taskforce rulemaking discussions.
The following dates are scheduled for OREO meetings at DFI.
- April 29, 2009 2-4pm Rm 220 (Announced Apr 23 in B-09-03)
- May 21, 2009 2-4pm Rm 220
- June 30, 2009 10-12pm Rm 220
- July 30, 2009 2-4pm Rm 220

Reference material for these meetings will be posted at http://www.dfi.wa.gov/cu/rulemaking.htm approximately one week prior to each meeting.
Formal hearings for OREO will be announced in future bulletins. DFI anticipates the formal hearings to take place in the fall.
