Technical Amendment Rulemaking
December 15, 2009
The Division of Credit Unions has initiated rulemaking to correct a typographical error in an earlier rule. Refer to Bulletin B-08-16 regarding the earlier rule.
Although the Bulletin B-08-16 and the Division of Credit Union’s procedural handling of the rule were correct, a scrivener’s error was discovered in the rule as published. Refer to WAC 208-418-040 regarding the corrected text.
To correct the error, a “CR-105” will be published in the Washington State Register on January 6, 2010. Refer to WSR 10-01-062 regarding the correction.
The CR-105 rulemaking process is a specialized one, designed to correct typographical and other errors. It is authorized by RCW 34.05.353(c).1 After a 45 day period, a CR 103 will be filed, to finalize the correction.
Information and documents pertaining to this corrective rulemaking will be posted on the Division of Credit Union’s rulemaking website at: http://www.dfi.wa.gov/cu/rulemaking.htm.
