Complaints
Washington residents who have a complaint against a financial institution or individual operating in Washington State can file it with DFI. File a complaint online at www.dfi.wa.gov/consumers/complaint.htm
Elder Investment Fraud Program
DFI has partnered with the Investor Protection Trust to roll out the Elder Investment Fraud and Financial Exploitation Prevention Program. The program educates medical professionals about how to spot older Americans who may be particularly vulnerable to financial abuse and then refer them to the proper authorities. Investor Education in Your Community ® is a unique investor education program that brings free investor education presentations to Washington community organizations and schools.
